Photoshop Experiments

It's been a wee while since I have created anything new, with the re-design of my we site taking up most of my time. So I decided to get busy with some stock imagery, shapes, gradients and illustrations, to create this piece. It's probably not quite finished, I think it needs some typography added, and it may well become a music poster, or something along those lines.

computer arts 165//artwork

This piece was created following the tutorial from computer arts magazine. I didn't completely copy the example, although it is quite similar, its also really cool though, and that's what really matters. {edit} The second image, is following the same style but i tried to make it look a bit different by adding a few of my own illustrations.

Some more (of the same) techniques

More of the same here, I don't know what I am going to do with these images! I really need to get started on a new project, but its kind of hard when i am not being given briefs like I was at college.

computer arts experiment

I just bought the new issue of computer arts (issue 161), i have never purchased it before, but i'm glad i did. It features lots of pretty cool photoshop and illustrator techniques, which i have been trying out for myself. These are my attempts at copying the technique used by Sara Haraigue.
